What 60frames currently uses
At the time of this update, the repository does not implement a first-party cookie banner, advertising cookies, analytics SDK, or custom browser tracking library.
The only clearly implemented browser-side persistence in the current codebase is the theme preference saved in localStorage when you use the light or dark mode toggle.
- The localStorage key used by the theme toggle is `motio-theme`.
- If you never change theme, that value does not need to be written.
Why that storage is used
The theme preference is used only to keep the site in the mode you selected the next time the interface renders in your browser.
60frames currently does not use that value for profiling, ads, behavioral targeting, or cross-site tracking.
- Removing the value resets the site back to its default theme behavior.
- Your browser may still cache static assets as part of normal web delivery, but that is separate from an application cookie policy.
What 60frames does not currently use
The current project code does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, or a similar analytics or ad-tech package.
If analytics, marketing tags, or consent tooling are added later, this page should be updated at the same time so the disclosure stays accurate.
- No first-party marketing cookie categories are declared here because they are not implemented in the repository code today.
- No payment cookie flow is described here because the app does not currently contain a checkout system.
Third-party services and outbound links
60frames links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Buy Me A Chai, and Buy Me A Coffee. Once you open those services, they may set their own cookies or similar identifiers under their own policies.
Those third-party technologies are not controlled by this repository after you leave 60frames or load their pages.
Managing preferences
You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings, site settings, or privacy extensions at any time.
If you delete the `motio-theme` value, 60frames simply forgets the last theme you picked and falls back to its default state until you choose again.
- You can also block or limit third-party cookies in your browser before opening external services from this site.
- If the app later adopts analytics or consent tooling, revisit this page and publish the exact vendor list and preference controls.
